Rides, Funnel Cake, Cotton Candy and All That Goodness

Yesterday we went to the Ohio State Fair and it was hotter than the dickens. It was only supposed to be low to mid 80s but it definitely felt hotter. My sister, cousin, and I ended up taking the younger sibs because it was get a wristband and stamp (good until 6pm) for the price of just a wristbands. Wristbands are now 18$, so of course the place was packed. Luckily the park emptied out quite a bit by about 7. As the wristbands have gotten more expensive the number of rides of declined. I am debating whether or not next year to even get a wristband. I definitely spent more time eating and looking at things which I have always enjoyed. Yesterday did see me riding a few rides though like the giant slide which is always a lot of fun. Also I ate things that I don't generally allow myself to touch like french fries, funnel cake, and cotton candy. The french frieds and funnel cake were delicious. My body soaked up the fried goodness. So after a long day at the fair my sisters, cousin, and I walked home where sore feet made their presence known. A thought that definitely crossed my mind a time or two was how much fun experiencing a new fair with my honey will be next month.
